I just don’t know what I’m waiting for

I glanced quickly at my watch

What time?

I was thinking that tomorrow was sure to come

And that it would come soon

That the depth of every day held some answers

To that ”when”

As time passed

As days went on

And the answers fell short

I wondered
When was that time?

Before I realized it

Time was gone

Love was gone

Life was gone

And the only thing that moved on

Was that time

The right time

At the right day
